Cirencester

We were lucky with the journey south, and arrived at our hotel in Cirencester at about 6:30. After uickly phoning home we went for a walk round whilst it was still light. It was quite a pretty town. When it started to go dark we thought we'd go into the nearest pub for a quick pint before going in search of food! Big mistake!!! It's a while since I've been heckled in the localest of local pubs, but it happened here.

One very swiftly drunk pint later we headed out for a curry. Not the best curry I've ever had but still perfectly acceptable, really it was just let down by the bhaji's! Curry scoffed, we headed back to the hotel with a bottle of (screwtop) wine - classy!!! :-)
