Chilled out

So, today was a really hot summer day. And what did i choose to do to make the most of the lovely summer weather? Go skiing at the snowdome at Leeds obviously! I went with Stu and Amy and spent a fab hour on the slope. It did feel a bit wrong putting on padded trousers, thick socks, super warm mittens and my winter coat on though when it was so lovely out! I wondered if it would take me a while to get into it as I didn't ski this winter, but I was soon whizzing down. And I won a great victory for skiers vs boarders by racing Stu 5 times and winning every time! Hahaha!

I had a night out last night and went to see Star Wars Episode III with Jon and Mand. It was really good fun, even though the script was shockingly bad! I just love it when Yoda gets all fighty, he makes me chuckle!

Another Holiday!

Yey, just booked to go away again in 3 weeks time (I thought I deserved another week away before I have to go back to work!). So this time we're going to Snowdonia - check the cottage out here...

Eurovision!!!

Yey! Last night was Eurovision night and as per usual we hosted the usual festivities. As for scoring I like either Norway or Denmark the most, but the fav's Greece won. We came 3rd from last which was unfair, but there was the usual political voting which meant we just didn't get a look in.

Part-timer!

I've finally arranged going back to work... I've managed to peruade work to let me go back for 3 days a week, working Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays! I start back on the 20th July, which doesn't seem long away at all though... '-(

Su-Doku!

I've got totally addicted by playing Su-Doku. It's a number puzzle, but just involves logic rather than tricky maths and is lots of fun. Poor Tully is getting a bit neglected though!

Stamford Brook

We went and looked at the showhomes at Stamford Brook today. For some reason Bryant seem to have designed all the houses to be really ugly from the outside. They only had 3 beds on show but I think we've decided against the development anyway now we've been to see it... Oh well, it was worth a look.

Congratulations to Steph and Tim! Alexander James Knight arrived into the world today at 10:10 this morning, and weighing a whopping 9lb 8oz... Ouch ouch diddly ouch! Last time I talked to Steph she was going for the 'as little pain relief as possible' approach, but given how big he ended up I'm waiting to hear how that went!!!!! I'll post a photo as soon as I have one.
